Hospitals use case
Multi-carrier connectivity for payments, transport vehicles, connected devices, and staff on the move.
Care does not pause because a circuit went down. A hospital is a campus, not a building, and the network has to reach all of it. Registration desks take payments, transport vehicles move between sites, and connected devices report from patient rooms and from patient homes. Single-carrier service cannot cover that spread, because coverage is fixed to whichever contract the health system signed, and failover inside that contract only moves the connection to another tower on the same network. When the primary circuit drops, registration and payment processing stop with it. MergeWiFi puts every one of those endpoints on all major carriers at once, with automatic failover between carriers and Watchtower zero-trust security on the connections carrying payment and device traffic.
Where MergeWiFi deploys
| Application | What it solves | Recommended stack |
|---|---|---|
| Backup Circuit | Automatic failover when the primary circuit fails, so registration, pharmacy, and payment processing stay online. Larger campuses need more than one unit. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Watchtower |
| Payment Processing | Primary or backup connectivity for registration desks, cashiers, and cafeteria and gift shop terminals across the campus. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Static IP where the payment vendor requires it, Watchtower |
| Visitor WiFi | Guest connectivity in waiting rooms, lobbies, and family areas, kept separate from the networks carrying payment and device traffic. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Watchtower, Managed networking where the internal network is in scope |
| Patient Transport and Fleet | In-vehicle connectivity and dash cams for patient transport, shuttles, and couriers moving between buildings and satellite sites. | Mount for permanent installs, Mini for shared use, Unlimited plan, No Watchtower on Mini |
| Connected Health Devices | Managed connectivity for device fleets on campus and in patient homes, without placing a router at every location. | Managed IoT SIMs with Watchtower |
| Executive and Staff Mobility | Secure connectivity for executives, traveling staff, and clinicians working from off-site offices, conferences, and travel. | Mini, Unlimited plan |
Why MergeWiFi
- All-carrier access. One device reaches every major carrier, never limited to a single site contract.
- Automatic carrier selection. Failover moves between carriers, not just between towers on the failing one.
- Zero-trust security. Watchtower enforces security at the SIM, on Watchtower-enabled hardware.
- Fully managed service. Deployed, monitored and supported by MergeWiFi, not by your customer's team.
