Clinics use case
Multi-carrier connectivity for check-in, payments, waiting rooms, and multi-site practices.
A dead circuit is a dead morning of appointments. A clinic runs on a schedule that does not tolerate a dead morning. Check-in takes payments, the waiting room fills, and a satellite location may have no practical wired option at all. Single-carrier service ties every site to one contract, so a location on the wrong side of that carrier's coverage stays slow, and failover inside the contract only moves the connection to another tower on the same network. When the circuit drops, the front desk stops taking payments and the schedule backs up behind it. MergeWiFi puts each location on all major carriers at once, with automatic failover between carriers and Watchtower zero-trust security where payment traffic runs.
Where MergeWiFi deploys
| Application | What it solves | Recommended stack |
|---|---|---|
| Primary or Backup Circuit | Primary connectivity at satellite locations and automatic failover at sites that do have a circuit, so the schedule keeps moving. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Watchtower |
| Patient Payments | Card payments at check-in and checkout, primary or backup, across every location in the practice. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Static IP where the payment vendor requires it, Watchtower |
| Waiting Room WiFi | Patient and visitor WiFi, kept separate from the networks carrying payment and connected device traffic. | Max (5G), Unlimited plan, Watchtower, Managed networking where the clinic network is in scope |
| Exterior Cameras | Camera coverage at entrances, parking, and after-hours access points at standalone and strip-center locations. | Managed IoT SIMs with Watchtower for the camera fleet, Solar camera systems where there is no power |
| Staff and Executive Mobility | Secure connectivity for practice managers and staff working between locations and traveling. | Mini, Unlimited plan |
Why MergeWiFi
- All-carrier access. One device reaches every major carrier, never limited to a single site contract.
- Automatic carrier selection. Failover moves between carriers, not just between towers on the failing one.
- Zero-trust security. Watchtower enforces security at the SIM, on Watchtower-enabled hardware.
- Fully managed service. Deployed, monitored and supported by MergeWiFi, not by your customer's team.
