Emergency Service Vehicles use case

Zero-trust connectivity for patrol, fire apparatus, ambulances, and incident command.

Sales sheetUpdated November 6, 2026

Dispatch data should never ride on a personal hotspot. An emergency fleet carries the most sensitive data a city holds: dispatch traffic, records queries, body camera footage, and patient care reports. When the vehicle connection does not reach, that data does not stop moving, it moves anyway, over an officer's personal hotspot or whatever WiFi happens to be available at the scene. Single-carrier service makes that routine, because one contract puts the same dead zones in the same places every shift, and failover inside that contract only moves the unit to another tower on the same network. A coverage hole is not a gap in service, it is an unmanaged device carrying city records. MergeWiFi puts every vehicle on all major carriers at once, on one account the agency controls, with Watchtower zero-trust security on Watchtower-enabled hardware.

Why MergeWiFi

  • All-carrier access. One device reaches every major carrier, never limited to a single site contract.
  • Automatic carrier selection. Failover moves between carriers, not just between towers on the failing one.
  • Zero-trust security. Watchtower enforces security at the SIM, on Watchtower-enabled hardware.
  • Fully managed service. Deployed, monitored and supported by MergeWiFi, not by your customer's team.
